They come over here....

Easily the funniest story of the week has to be the BNP's launch of its European campaign in London. The witless fascists used the iconic image of a WWII Spitfire, oblivious that the markings identified it as a plane flown in the 303 squadron by Polish fighters.

The BNP want all Eastern European workers to be barred from Britain. Curious then, as the Unite against Fascism website notes, that they should choose an image from the Battle of Britain, where 1 in 5 pilots were non-British. During the Battle of Britain, Poles shot down 203 Luftwaffe aircraft, or 12% of total German losses.

As one comment on the Facebook site I bet we can find 1,000,000 people who loathe the BNP observed, the BNP's slogan has to be "Coming over here, taking our Spitfires, winning our war. Bastards."

You can see the original story here. This is the first and last time this blog shows a picture of Nick Griffin. Or indeed has a link to the Daily Mail.

Thanks for the plug Nick. Keep 'em coming.
I don't know if you missed the bit about Griffo where he actually makes reference to the Polish spitfire pilots on our website. So what was said in your crap post was hardly a revelation to us. We knew already. Surely you don't think we are as stupid as you?
Just a silly attempt at mischief making by the media again.

Anonymous said...

That's pathetic, Trev. Everyone knows that Griffin didn't have a clue about the photo and its Polish connections. But as long as Griffin can rely on sycophants like your good self then he'll continue laughing all the way to the bank. I trust you've made a sizeable offering in response to Griffin's latest begging letter.

What's happened to Mark Walker, why wasn't he chosen as a Euro candidate? Don't you believe that he was smeared or something?

Paul Cain said...

I'll repeat myself: New Labour has done more for the cause of the BNP than anyone else.
New Labour and the BNP are two sides of the same coin. Their policies match to an alarming extent.

"British Jobs For British Workers", and all that.

New Labour and the BNP are equally repugnant and no decent person should have anything to do with either of them.

Many thanks for posting this, I haven't laughed so much in weeks. It's kind of like the time they hired a DJ for one of their dinners who turned out to be black.

I think this shows a very exposed flank for the BNP which politicians don't use enough. Instead of arguing that they're evil, just show people that they're totally inept...

Very funny!

Oh, now I take them really seriously..

Excellent post Nick.
The ignorance of these people is quite incredible!

The allied forces in WW2 were made up of a huge number of nations, from Poland to India, including of course the fearsome Ghurkas.
These peoples fought and died to preserve the freedoms which some in the BNP now abuse with their message of hate.

We have of late seen the Union flag freed from clutches of the fascists and it disgusts me to see our images of our "finest hour" abused in this way.

Thanks all.

Paul - it really isn't fair to compare a democratic politician like Gordon Brown to the fascists in the BNP. Even his enemies acknowledge that he's a decent, thoughtful man, and a million miles away from the racist bile of the BNP.

Trying to draw moral equivalence between Labour (or indeed the Tories or LibDems) isn't just wrong, it's dangerous too, and only gives comfort to the extremists.

Mark - you're right, and fortunately it remains the case that most people haven't experienced the nightmare of actually being represented by the BNP. There are some salutary tales, which I must blog on sometime.

Otherwise - yes I was struck by "Griffo" too - it's a bit like trying to make Hitler warm and cuddly by calling him "Big A".

And Ian - you're spot on.

Coun Wallis: thanks for the reply.

Gordon Brown's government:

Had plans to detain people for six weeks without trial;

Will monitor every telephone call, email and internet visit of every person in the UK;

Will force us to pay for ID cards, on pain of a fine or prison, containing very personal data;

Has introduced a new criminal offence, many of them 'thought crimes' at the rate of about one a day;

Operates nearly a third of all of the world's CCTV cameras;

Re-introduced electoral fraud to the UK via the postal voting system;

Arrests opposition MPs in their Parliamentary offices;

Threatens local press photographers with anti-terror laws for taking pictures of policemen;

Removes 80-year-old men from its annual conference under anti-terror laws;

Has eroded the precious right to trial by jury;

Attempted to permit coroners, at their total discretion, to hold inquests in camera;

Is accused of complicity in the torture of people, like Mohamed Binyan, who have never been charged with anything;

Surreptitiously helped the CIA in 'extraordinary rendition' by offering British airstrips as landing points;

Introduced 'control orders' for hundreds of people, mainly Muslims who have never been convicted of any crime;

Have given immigration officers the power of arrest without warrant;

Have given police the power to stop and search within airports and designated areas, without the need for reasonable suspicion;

Banned legal demonstrations from within a mile (or is it a km?) of parliament;

Arrested a peace campaigner under anti-terror and public order laws for reading out the names of our Iraq war dead, quietly and peacefully, at the Cenotaph;

Removed the presumption of innocence until guilt is proved under the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act of 2004;

Under the Counter-Terrorism act of 2008, introduced state-appointed 'special advocates' for terror suspects, with limited rights to speak to their clients, and limited rights to full disclosure of the evidence against them;

Gave the right to dozens of public bodies to monitor individuals' emails and telephone calls. By your own admission, Darlington Council has done this (Darlington Council, for God's sake!);

Will require 53 separate pieces of information from anyone leaving the country under the Draft (Partial) Immigration and Citizenship Bill;

Introduced the Children's database in Jan 2008. Twenty pieces of information are held about every child in Britain;

Retains the DNA of dozens of thousands of innocent people who have come to the attention of police and had their fingerprints and DNA taken, although convicted of no crime.

You want me to go on? I can.

I hold no brief for terrorists, but your disgusting party has severely damaged the framework of rights, freedoms, checks and balances, which have stood us in good stead for hundreds of years.

If Gordon Brown is a 'decent, thoughtful man' how the hell can he tolerate this?

I doubt the BNP would dare suggest even half these measures.

Just who are the extremists, Coun Wallis? Just who, eh?

You really shouldn't go down the 'moral equivalence' route, because you're on very dodgy ground.

You could have added colluded with the bankers to ruin every person in this country, except the bankers and their fellow politicians and also ruin the future of our children and our children's children and made sure their sons and daughters are not on the front line in Iraq and Afganistan.

Bet their children get all the best jobs.

New Labour are a foul, rancid lot. Thank you Paul.

Paul Cain said...

And to rub salt into the wounds:

In case the link doesn't work, the government admits, today (Monday) that the DNA of a child under one and someone over 90 was held on the national database.

A baby and someone anticipating the telegram from Her Maj........

Still, Councillor Wallis, only those with something to hide could POSSIBLY object to having their DNA stored, eh?

Enlighten us, Councillor: If Nick Griffin and the BNP suggested storing the DNA of innocent babies and 90-year-olds, what would your reaction be?

Brown's Britain. Such a 'decent, thoughtful' place.

BNP Volunteer said...

This reminds me of the leaked membership list not long back and other similar events such as the Iain Duncan Smith BNP helpline incident.

Just who was the little dickie bird who tipped off the Daily Mail about the Polish Spitfire and the other events?
It certainly had legs as a story for the press. So sniggers apart from our opponents who we don't give a stuff about, a lot of people now know that the BNP are spearheading a battle for Britain in the coming Euro elections. Inept? Possibly. A cunning BNP propaganda trick? Possibly, who knows? But it does follow a pattern of similar stunts which have grabbed priceless publicity.

The BNP has a lot of Polish friends both in this country and in Poland. Their equivalent party to the BNP is made up of the sort of men who would have flown Spitfires in WWII and are one of the best Nationalist partys in Europe who we will be forming a group with when elected.

A Pole signed the BNP nomination forms for the recent North Road by-election and there is also a popular elderly Polish hero in Darlington who fought Communism before having to flee for his life. I count him as a dear friend.

Are the BNP also inconsistent for mourning the death of the soldier with the obviously non British surname of Azimkar and saying that his murderers should hang?

You have a lot to say on your blog Wallis, why have you not said anything about these sad and significant events over the weekend?

Also on the subject of hypocracy aren't you supposed to be a leading light in a party which claims to be the defender of the working class?
Why have you (and indeed New Labour as a whole) not slammed the recent employers blacklist which was subscribed to by at least 3 Darlington companies? Surely you should be outraged on behalf of the working class.

I also don't see anything to mark the 25th anniversary of the bitter working class Miners struggle which was fought to save jobs and communities. The same destroyed communities that you will be grubbing for votes in and will probably get from the unsophisticated "i will vote Labour cos me dad did and his dad before him" Zombies.

Apart from ignoring your core voters you display cordial relations on this site with young tory wankers and the likes of Graham Robb. It said on TV last week that the bitter divisions are still alive in the old pit villages, but it seems the wounds healed with the old enemy a bit easier for some eh Nick.

Which brings me to the question of why would somebody who likes to pose as the country squire in a property which is obviously not in the reach of your average proletariat and also sends his kids to private school want to be a member of the Labour party? A party which is supposed to be a party of the worker. I wonder what one of my heroes Kier Hardy would say?

Your days are obviously numbered in your cosy little fat armchair, no-one hears or sees hide nor hair of you until theres an election, get your fat arse into gear and do something good in the community rather than spend all of your time worrying about the BNP. You WILL lose your seat to the BNP that is inevitable providing your clapped out shell doesnt give up first, so make hay while the sun shines. Also can you explain why your busom buddy PHIL WILSON had his photograph taken with a "save our post offices" Tee shirt on with the good people of aycliffe, then scuttled down to westminster and voted for them to close as revealed on the "they work for you" website ??? Also the promise of a massive revamp of aycliffe town centre is ploughing ahead i see NOT, again lies and bullshit from lazy money grabbing hypocrites, who are worries their fat noses are going to be pushed out of the trough.

KevinMcNeil said...

Instead of attacking the BNP you should be appologising to the families of our servicemen and women who have died on the strength of your party's lies! Weapons of mass destruction my a4se - Iraqi oil more likely. You may want to nitpick over the BNP's use of an image - but at least the BNP does not have the blood of our service men and women on their hands.

And while I'm on the subject of Labour deceit when are Labour's thieving MPs going to repay all the dosh they have pilfered from the taxpayer in unjustifiable Parliamentary expenses and allowances?

Lets' face it my friend - Labour is just another word for criminality.

ianh said...

I would suggest that most of the above posts clearly illustrate the mentality of many within the BNP. Ignorant, abusive, intolerant.

Trying to put a veneer of respectability on their hate filled agenda by using the genuine concerns of many (the Iraq war etc) is so transparent as to be laughable.

KevinMcNeil said...

"Hate filled" - clearly the truth hurts!

Labour's involvement in the deaths, directly or indirectly, of around one million Iraqis is, I would suggest, as "hate filled" as it comes! And Labour is directly responsible for the deaths of our servicemen - unlike the British workers party (aka BNP).

And do you deny that Labour MPs and councillors the length and breadth of Britain are thieving from the taxpayer in "iffy" allowances and expenses claims? Wasn't Labour's Stoke mayor arrested only last week on alleged corruption charges? Maybe Stoke will become another "Donnygate" - where some 21 Labour councillors were convicted of fraud a few years back!

As I previously stated Labour is just another word for criminality and I make no appology for your hurt feelings.

ianh said...

No hurt feelings on my part. I have no political afiliations or aspirations.
I am though only too aware of the true nature of many within the BNP and the criminal history of many of its activists.
Therfore the hypocracy of those within that organisation is (as usual) pretty laughable.
It is however down to the failure of labour (and indeed all mainstream parties) that has allowed the BNP to Appear (to some) to represent the voice of working Britain.
However no amount of patriotic rhetoric or sharp suited flag waving will cover up for long the fascist, rascist, anti-semitic, holocost denying underbelly of the BNP.

Fortunatley I have sufficient faith in the good sense of the vast majority of working Britain that we will never see the BNP in any significant position of power or influence in this country.

Australias prime minister bravely said..

Whole world Needs A Leader Like This!

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:

'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

At last, at last. It is now more necessary than ever to speak out in view of the disgraceful scenes in Luton, the attacks on christianity in this country in the name of muliculturalism.

I am sorry but Mr. Rudd is right. It is our country it is our country, our culture and our traditions and if they do not like it go elsewhere.

It is interesting that Mr. Rudd's comments have not been reported on television or in the press. I wonder why?

When in Rome....

Luton was a disgrace every protestor there should be shipped off somewhere, I here there's a few empty places at Guatmo.

They come here and preach racial hatred to us and we cannot protest back in fear of being racists?

I personally would not stay where I hated the place and its people....AHhhhhhh but those loverly benefits make all the difference, don't they!

Where's Brown's stance on the Luton travesty, and don't give us the thats democracy speech Wallis.

Our brave troops only go where the Gov. sends them they should not be subject to that sort of thing upon their return.

Throw the lot out, soon Britain wont be ours any more the Great has already gone!

Soon it will be Not-so-great muslimsville, I dont support the BNP or racism but this must be stopped if their life starts after death and they get all these virgins offer them all cyanide pills to speed them on their way to allah.

Theres my democratic right to freedom of speach!

I know most "I'm not a racist" comments are then followed by a BUT, but it is about time those who hate being here any colour,creed or religion simply go somewhere they are happy, if that is with Allah so be it!

Come on Nick your stand against racial hatred is well known but why no comment when that hatred is towards your fellow country men from "outsiders"?

Should they not abide by our law when they arrive to milk our dole system?

The Gov. have lost the plot when our troops have to put up with that sort of behaviour in the name of democratic freedom of speech upon their return, I thought that would of been inciting racial hatred and arrestable it certainly would of been if it were an anti muslim demonstration!.

I would of let the troops open fire on them!

In years to come James and AJ will bitterley talk about how their Daddy had let them down.

James was mentioning how dull it is these days now that the women had to hide their beauty behind robes and keep their faces hidden. He also remembered happily about the days when he could eat a bacon butty and enjoy a nice cool lager on a summers day.
He also mentioned about how his favourite football team Newcastle United had to remove the Magpie from their football shirt so as not to offend Islamics by depicting a living Image which was not done by Allah.

Nursing his wounds after he and a load of his friends were brutally attacked when the gay nightclub they hang around in was visciously closed down by the intollerant Sharia system, AJ recalled the frightening hate in the faces of the Islamics assembled outside carrying plackards calling for the be-heading of those that followed such a lifestyle and calling for walls to be pulled down on them as punishment, just like what happens in Afghanistan under Taliban rule.

Why was our dad Nick Thorne Wallis so cowardly in allowing this bleak and miserable society to happen and opposing those that were brave enough to try and preserve the happy British way of life?

On the up side though crime was down as theives were relieved of their hands and young ferrals were taken off street corners by being forced to attend mosque several times a day.

AJ's blood then curdled as they then heard the wailing from the minaret which was demanding their presence in the giant Darlington Central Mosque which was once Zhivagos nightclub.

Please think about your boys futures Nick and don't allow this to happen. Don't let down your family.
