Wow factor

The CLP's Christmas Party was held in the newly-refurbished Dolphin Centre on Saturday. I was stunned by the transformation, and went back for these snaps today. Months of hard work have paid off, and the main body of the building is unrecognisable - it's all glass, chrome and polished wood. Get along there - believe me you'll be wowed too.

They sure are some quality pictures! And the place looks fabulous... I may even attend the all new gym in the New Year to flatten out my tummy :)

Who knows, I may even join you, Mark. I may need a steamroller to flatten my girth, however... :)

Best wishes,

Nick.

Cycling to/from the gym would be an excellent warm up activity.

You're not wrong Mike...

My wife was in the Dolphin Centre on Tuesday and was very impressed. It sounds like a good job's been done.

Hopefully, the soft play area will be good enough to mean her and her friends will go there, instead of the place at Aycliffe, each week. It'll be one less car trip for us if it is.

It's not on the same scale as Ruff and Tumble (or Tumble Driers as it's strangely known in this household), but none the worse for that. I find R&T too manic, and sometimes the older children can be a bit threatening for the younger ones - especially in the football area.

They only go to R&T on weekdays in term-time, as the eldest child's only 3. So, they get the run of the whole place.
